This is a great little suitcase, very durable and nice looking. The capacity seems to be a lot smaller than other carry ons I’ve had though.This is great for a small carry on with laptop add on. I did so because those airlines charge a good deal for additional luggage that they often lose. Plus, those airlines are notorious for having quite limited onboard space. This luggage fit just fine in the overhead compartment. Although I was unable to get it under my seat.If you're well organized you can fit enough tech and clothing inside this Hanke 20-inch Carry-On Suitcase to get you through a 2-3 day stay.Sadly, your Hanke 20-inch Carry-On Suitcase may appear worse for wear at the conclusion of your journey as my luggage has already been stained by some sort of market and colors from other luggage that was in contact with mine during my flights.What I liked most about this Hanke 20-inch Carry-On Suitcase was:- Beautiful- TSA Compliant- More spacious than it appearsWhat I disliked about this Hanke 20-inch Carry-On Suitcase was:- Stained easilyOverall, if you are looking for a piece of carry-on luggage that looks great and has good capacity then this Hanke 20-inch Carry-On Suitcase might be right for you. I opted for white as it stands out in a crowd but mine picked up a few stains after a couple of round trips aboard two different budget airline carriers. That said, I do not regret my purchase so much as I am lamenting not opting for a different color choice. 4.0 out of 5.0I am a carry on backpack type of person but there have been a few times that I’ve actually needed larger suitcases and I had to borrow my moms. Well, no more because now I’m an adult with adult luggage. This honestly looks a lot more chic than some of the items in the store and its really good quality. Plus its nice to have a break from the Away styled luggage, I want something different. I took it on a trip recently and while it ended up a with a few scratches from rough transport, it held up nicely. I do like having the front portion open, but I think that functionality is better served on a carry on piece and not a checked one. In order to get to the main compartment, you have to open the entire front part which isn’t convenient at all. There is plenty of space internally and lots of pockets scattered throughout. The wheels rolled smooth against a variety of surfaces and at no point did I feel like I was dragging it along.Performed amazingly! Holds a lot more than I thought. Smooth traveling process with this, definitely worth the money, going to get much use from me!This Carry-on has good zippers, a TSA lock, and non-zippered internal pocket for your laptop. Once open, it has 2 pockets, one on the door to hold a laptop and some flat items like files or notebooks, and one giant section for everything else. You could fit everything you need in here as it's very spacious, but it only has bunge cords to hold your stuff in place, and doesn't offer the convienece of having other pockets for shoes or toiletries, they all go into the main pocket. Once sealed up it's pretty sturdy and likely won't get damaged during the flight.This is a good hard-shell carry-on suitcase. I do wish it were 22x14x9, which is what all the airlines are telling me is the maximum size of a carry-on. It does fit the 22x14 just fine, but it's just barely over 9" deep. I did take multiple flights with it on several different airlines in summer 2022 and never had any issues.It's my first hard-shell suitcase and my first 4-wheel suitcase. The 4-wheel "spinner" thing seems fine, though personally I think I'd prefer a little more interior room and would settle for only 2 wheels. The Wirecutter recently said they now prefer 4 wheels, so I'm happy to give it a try.The hard-shell thing makes it a little more awkward in one way, which is that when you unzip the opening you're really opening a large hole which takes up most of one side of the hard shell, rather than opening the entire side. So the inside cavity is larger than the hole you use to access it. This seems awkward to me. Maybe the benefits of a hard shell are worth it.I will say that one consistently useful benefit of the hard shell is that you can sit on the suitcase when it is standing up on its wheels. This came in handy for us several times.The inside is pretty spacious.The laptop pocket seems fine. The zippers have a good feel. The passcode/TSA-lock thing (which locks the zippers in place) is not something I ever predict using personally, but it's reasonably unobtrusive.In summary I think it's likely to get the job done. It remains to be seen if I'm fully convinced of the benefits of 4 wheels and a hard shell, but I'm happy to give those a try. I wish they would have shaved off a fraction of an inch to ensure it really fits in 22x14x9, but experience suggests it's close enough.
