I bought it to install a luggage box on top, seems well-made and sturdy. The only problem is the cargo rack hole and the side piece hole are not the same size, so if you put some weight on the cargo rack, it would bend down. I fixed it by enlarging the smaller hole and running an M10 bolt through it. I have it on the bike for about 2 months now, no problem yet.
