I travel a lot. If it’s just for a few days I use my carry-on. If it’s longer, I need something larger. However, too large and it’s hard to maneuver. I also insisted on two wheels rather than four tiny spinners. Just try to walk on cobblestones with spinners and watch them crack. After a lot of research I found exactly what I was looking for: 25” Travelpro Expandable Bold with Rollaboard wheels. When it arrived I was very pleased to see it’s just as good as I had hoped.Quality product. Two models - spinner and roller. I have the roller because I'm tall. My wife has a different brand, but with the four wheel spinners - not my preference. Of two sizes, I have the 25" - good size. TBD if I needed the 28 inch for cruises - but that is larger than I think I would want. This is a great case, sturdy - what's incredibly great is it weighs about 8 pounds - a good 5 less than my current case. Highly recommend.Update: There are two external top pockets. One full length; the other 50% that I assumed was the 2” expansion. I just discovered the full-around zipper that is the 2” expansion - expands the entire top edge of the packable area by 2” - significant additional space. Great case.I got this because we're going on a 10-day bus tour and the dimensions meet the maximum size limits. But it's a beast... cavernous! I've already taken it on a 10-day road trip and after putting everything in it, I still had room. And I took more than I needed. If you're going to be on the road for several weeks then this might be the way to go. But if I had it to do over again, I'd have gone with the 25" version.Good carry on for necessary items for tripI am not a fan of the spinner suitcases. As a business traveler who is on the road over half of the year, durability, function, and ease of use are important. It's easy to pull - not a fan of the spinner bags, I honestly don't see what everyone loves about them but to each their own. I bought one - it lasted 4 round trip flights. It was hard to pull across carpet and door jams. I couldn't get it off the bag belt easily. This bag is loaded with handles all over - easy peasy to snatch off of the bag belt. It's easy to recognize - pockets a plenty. I bought the 28inch bag and the backpack as well and I hope these last me the rest of my career. I'm tempted to buy another one to keep in the closet - just in case.@TravelPro - 10/10. Beyond love this bag - thanks for making it.This is has become my favorite go to piece of luggage. Perfect for carry on.I purchased two more sizes of this bag, after having purchased the larger checked bag size and taken it on a few trips. I like these bags for their inline wheels, which are getting harder to find but work better on sidewalks, bricks, sand and other awkward terrain than the spinners. The material is rugged and the zippers work well. Lots of handles on different sides makes them easy to grab out of the overhead bin, or at baggage claim, and the two-tone color is easy to spot on the carousel. The plastic pocket is great for damp bathing suits. They are pricey, but well made, sturdy and comfortable to use, so I I think they are worth the cost.Good construction but a bit heavy even emptyBought two of these suitcases for an extended trip that will have multiple destinations. We were looking for something that had a flexible outer shell, and durable rollerblade wheels for easier rolling on rough surfaces. These look very well constructed and are very light. Will update after we have traveled.UPDATE: The suitcases were an excellent choice for our travels and survived 7 airline flights and 2 train trips with no damage or significant signs of wear. By using packing cubes, we were able to pack more than we needed for a month long vacation, including hiking boots and a travel tripod for our camera. The tall and narrow shape and the flexible sides and top made them easy to pack in vehicles, and the 2 rollerblade wheels were a dream to handle on concrete surfaces compared to the 4 wheel spinner style. The wheels are very durable and well protected from impact that could cause breakage, and were more than capable of being used even on gravel driveways. The zippers are very heavy duty and move without binding. The straps that close over the zipper and act as a safeguard against zipper failure are a nice touch, as are the grab handles located on the top, bottom, and side. It was very easy to grab the suitcases from carousels and placing them into vehicles was much easier. I would not hesitate to recommend Travel Pro Tpro Bold, and will probably purchase more of their luggage in the future.I like this brand very much and especially prefer the in-line wheels over the spinners. Much easier to get around cobblestones or pull one bag while pushing / controlling another - my travel buddy has health issues and I often have to help move her bag. Love the light colored interior, makes finding things easy. Happy trails with this bag!Excelente maleta de calidad, robusta en todos sus componentes!! Súper recomendable!!
