ReviewPros – Packed well, Quality metal, durable, easy install (video of install on site).Cons- No guide for screws included.Packaging:I could tell that the manufacturer took great care in wrapping the material provided, which prevented scratching from metal-on-metal contact. The metal pieces were securely wrapped in bubble wrap, and no contact between them and the main panels were evident. This showed clear attention to detail in its packaging, minimizing the risk of breakage during transit.Quality Material:I was pleasantly surprised opening the packaging and discovering the excellent quality of this product. Panels from big brands typically range between $300 to $500. However, this panel, priced at $200, exceeds expectations in terms of quality! I am a graduate student and money is a big hurdle for me so this made my purchase satisfying. One of my initial concerns, based on online images, was the attachment options available. My assumption was that adhesives would be the only method, however, the panels come with screws for attachment if desired. The strength of this panel is impressive, it is a high-quality metal construction and has a protective paint coating that minimizes scratching (which I accidentally tested). The company also offers additional products like the metal fire extinguisher holder, where metal-on-metal contact typically results in visible scratches. However, with this material, the scratches are not visible.Installation:Initially, I found the installation process a bit daunting, but once I laid out the panel and its components, it became clear. There are essentially eight main parts to focus on, with the rest being screws and attachments for securing the panel to your vehicle. There is a big R or L on the panels to tell you which side they go on. The box did not come with any paper instructions or a guide detailing which screws to use where, it's simple upon opening, as some screws won't fit certain pieces. I added a picture of the panel placed where you can see the screws (picture 1 & 2). Basically, if it is a Phillips head it goes into the plastic of the vehicle (optional) and if it’s an Allen head it attaches the panel components together- super simple. The installation itself is incredibly straightforward: peel off the adhesive stickers, align the panel with the side of the vehicle, and press firmly – it's as easy as that. I am assuming this was laser-cut for this specific vehicle because these panels are exact fit and align with the curvature of the vehicle perfectly (picture 5). I added screws for extra security because I am planning on hauling a fire extinguisher on rough trails. It's surprising that people are sleeping on this product, it’s the simplest attachment I've come across and involves minimal intrusion on the vehicle.Field test:I decided to field test the panel to gauge its sturdiness and durability, particularly on rough terrain. It exceeded my expectations! Despite traversing extremely challenging trails, the panel remained firmly in place (with a medium fire extinguisher - 10lbs), with the adhesive and screws holding strong. I also got attachments for a fire extinguisher, an axe, and stake hammer, medical kit, water bottle, and a dump pouch (picture 3 & 4). I was initially concerned that the weight of the fire extinguisher might rip the screws out of the panel and my truck, but this was not an issue. My only regret with this purchase is that I did not get the shelf attachment. The shelf is a fantastic addition and would provide extra storage and support for the panels. I have already contacted the company and they said I could purchase the shelf separately. I've attached a picture of my current setup, and I couldn't be happier with the product's outstanding quality. Whether you're an overlander, trail enthusiast, or city driver with a Ford Explorer (or any other vehicle you can think of they have a panel for), this panel enhances your kit. It provides increase storage and adds a sleek look to your vehicle. Highly recommend!
