I bought both the mid size bag and the 19 inch carry on. The midsize was checked and did reach us on a Europe trip both ways. It also went through luggage handling on a cruise ship. There are a few scratches. One quite long. It isn't going to go through luggage handling looking new but that is not an issue for me. Didn't crack or break and they were packed heavy. Wheels are still there. Handle still works. My husband put a heavy carry on on top with a strap and it worked to get us in and out of the airport. He hated the four wheels as he prefers to drag it behind him and loaded as he was it was difficult. I took and walked it next to me. I noticed either bag is sluggish rolling on the carpet in hotels so I had to drag them.Very classy. I liked the silver. It worked great as a carryon to Europe. There is a larger one that says "carry on" on Amazon but it is too tall as the size didn't measure the wheels. This one fits in the luggage compartment on it's side, wheels in. The airlines like that to save room as so many people are using only carryons. Love the front pocket for easy access to liquids and a jacket. I stuffed it and the zippers work great. I slipped a large soft personal bag over the handle. I checked this Delsey coming back and really missed those wheels walking to gates as I had to carry the other bag on my shoulder. Won't do that again. Nice interior snaps that expanded and tightened easy. Plus a full zip covered area.I bought this for my teenage daughter before we went on a trip to the Caribbean. She claimed she outgrew her "kid" luggage! Ha ha! I have a Delsey Helium Aero Spinner I purchased 7 years ago that has been all over the world and is still my favorite suitcase ever, so I didn't look for another brand. My daughter loved the color and how much room it had. She totally over-packed for our one week trip, as this suitcase has so much room!The zippers (both the expansion zipper and the main zipper) are easy to use and don't get stuck. Even with my daughter over-packing, it was easy to hold the suitcase together and zip it up. She was happy with the integrated lock and promptly set it to her own code. The handle was easy to use and the suitcase was easy to pull.Because the suitcase is hard sided, I felt that the souvenirs we purchased would be better protected than in a soft sided suitcase. My previous Delsey has been great for that, and this one was no exception for my daughter.I definitely recommend this suitcase. It's a great size and if it's like my 7 year old hard sided Delsey, it will hold up and last for years.Purchased suitcase and carry on.I love this carry-on, but there are a few problems. I traveled 5 times (10 flights) since buying.Before my first trip- one of the internal zippers broke. The zipper just slid right off the track when I was closing it. During my last flight, I had to check this carry-on for overbooked flight (no remaining storage on the plane). I don't know what happened, but the wheels aren't as smooth and the retractable handle is bent and hard to pull out and especially hard to put back in. I looked up warranty info and will be checking to see if anything can be done. I really do like it, but was disappointed that the carry-on does not seem to be holding up well. The colors (despite being called the same color) of the suit case and carry-on do not match. I bought them at the same time. Carry on is darker and the suitcase is lighter. So far suitcase has been holding up well.Well designed, super sturdy and easy to maneuver on tight railway quais and airport lines. I love it. Side door is brilliant!Very maneuverable, looks great! Perfect size. Very sturdy. Padded handles are huge plus! We'll update post trans Atlantic trip.Very lightweight and a great size bag. High quality zipper and it rolls very smoothly.Finally not made in China.Great for international flights. Front compartment opens easily to get laptop and stuff during flight in overhead compartment.Colors nice, not cheesy shiny colors like othersI had to order a replacement because the telescopic handle will not fully extend. FYI, I had to return the first one and Amazon processed a refund. I placed a new order to get the replacement. I have not used the replacement on a trip yet. But I have now started packing for an upcoming trip And I’m testing the telescopic handle again. Since the replacement arrived, the telescopic handle fully extended only *maybe* twice. It is such a struggle to get it to extend fully. 99% of the time, the handle will only go up to the 2nd stop. Thankfully I’m only 5’2” so the 2nd stop means it just comes up to my hand. This is definitely going to be an ergonomic issue for people taller than 5’2”. The annoying thing is if I had a tote that I want to add to the top of this luggage, the tote will be higher than the handle because the telescopic handle only comes up to the 2nd stop. Sooooo FRUSTRATING!!! I do like the fact that I can unzip the front part and it opens to allow me access to my iPad and documents without having to open the entire bag. The spinner wheels seem to maneuver well. But I absolutely hate the telescopic handle and wonder how well it will stand up to normal use. Considering the price for this Delsey, I shouldn’t have to put up with the telescopic handle issue. I have a cheaper carry-on trolley bag that I’ve used for 8 years on multiple trips and that one has no issues whatsoever with the telescopic handle.I reviewed this product earlier, however, at that time we had only used it when driving to destinations. We have now flown to Las Vegas, and used two pieces of the set of three Helium Titanium cases on the trip.Here is a summary of how they fared, and my conclusions.First of all, they are extremely lightweight, but that should not worry you regarding their durability - which on this experience is excellent.Due to the color, they did get marked up with surface stains where they rubbed against various surfaces, but for any regular traveler, these are marks that prove your luggage is important for utility over attractiveness. I think they look beautiful with the usage blemishes. Besides which, the color (while marking easily) makes them stand out on the conveyor belt at the airport, so I was able to spot them without any problem at all.This beautiful set of luggage ticks all the boxes for my wife and I;attractive,durable,distinctive,lightweight,and built with the best spinner wheels we have ever used.Highly recommended!*update Dec 10. I would return this if I could. It hardly holds anything because of the front design. I was shocked when I went to pack this case for the first time today. So disappointing. Nothing but a laptop or papers can be slid into front compartment andit leaves you with hardly any space in interior. So now I have to write this one off and look for a better case. It’s a glorified briefcase.I give 3 stars for the reduced volume of this case. It def gets top marks for quality and construction. Compartments are nice but this is more of a short trip business bag. I would expect to be able to pack at least 30% less in this carry on because of the side pockets and dividers. I really like the overall make of it but not sure if it will be viable for packing essentials overseas. Fully expanded makes very little difference. A good buy if you do t need as much space.I love how light weight it is. For me, the best feature is the front compartment. It can accommodate a storage for laptop and other stuff that I may need necessary for while waiting for your flight or layover. The front compartment provides a generous opening to zip all the way the accordion like pouch while keeping your items protected with the soft shell over all design of this luggage. If you like to keep your items reasonably organized, the zipper closure design keeps items intact inside on each side.
