These are OK roof rails. Like the looks of them, but we have so many unanswered questions. Can't seem to find a contact for the manufacturer to ask. They are on a 2022 Compass. We purchased the "regular" bars because the system said the others would not fit our vehicle. Directions to install where OK, but not great. Trying to find advice on if we can go through an automatic car wash with them on is impossible. Still looking for that answer, and honestly don't want to just try it and risk something going wrong with it being a new vehicle. Next problem is figuring out what exactly do the locks lock? Not like someone is going to steal the rails as you need an allen wrench to take them off and its not going to be a quick grab and go. We do have some whistle noise...some days are worse than others. I've learned to just live it with it for now. But I imagine I'll be removing the rails after our vacation.Revision- racks did thier job well on our vacation. Had to find another way to attach our cargo basket becasue the rails are more round than fla, but thats on us for not realizing that before we purchased the rails. Still have a small whistle when we don't have the cargo basket attached. Seller did reach out about our concerns. These are excellent, high quality, sturdy racks. They are easy to install, fit perfectly on my 2022 Jeep Compass, and look great! I am looking forward to purchasing the matching roof basket as well. This is an amazing product. I’ve bought several roof racks through Amazon, but this rack stands far above the rest. This rack is on par with my Thule rack in terms of build and material quality. It arrived well-packed in a surprisingly heavy box. I was expecting cheap and lightweight crap, but immediately my expectations were exceeded. Unboxing revealed both crossbars, a helpful set of instructions printed in a high quality booklet, and most surprising of all, the highest quality Allen wrench I’ve ever owned. Even the provided Allen wrench is of high quality! I was immediately impressed, this Allen will make a fine addition to my collection! The rack itself was very well made, each bar was hefty in the hand, and the provided hardware was weighty and appeared to be made of 304 (?) stainless steel, not cheap aluminum. My favorite aspect of the rack was the rubber grip that runs along the top to help things from sliding around. Very useful! The installation was a bit time-intensive, but when I was done I felt the rack was well-secured to the vehicle.Overall, the fit and finish was what I would expect from a high-end rack that costs x4 as much, I will be returning to this company for my next rack. You will not be disappointed.Time will tell how this rack holds up, if anything goes wrong I will return and update this review. If no update, assume all is great! This is a decent rack, but once bolted on the rubber pads distort , this makes the end caps not fit correctly, and makes the key hard to lock the end caps on. I contacted the MFG ,they basically told me I didn't install correctly. Not really a way to install wrong, it just doesn't fit right.Bought these because the crossbars for my Jeep Compass were on backorder with Jeep. I also wasn't happy with extending our over the sides. I found these and thought they had a much more streamlined look. I did have to pay to someone to install them because it isn't an easy job. However I am very happy with the finished results. I would definitely recommend them to other people.I wanted cross bars that didn't extend beyond the brackets and these were the only I could find for my car. When I ordered there were no reviews so I was a little hesitant, but they worked out great! Installation was easy, and they look really nice. As with any cross bars, there is a little bit of a whistle when driving fast, but under 60 it isn't noticeable.
