This product looks and feels very solidly built and fits very snug into the universal docking hardware of my Road King Special and adds a TON more surface area for your touring luggage or whatever you need it for. It is easily double the width of other luggage racks I have reviewed offering you more area to put a bigger bag, even those duffels you usually have to stand up vertically can be mounted horizontally.The finish is shiny and looks to be very durable. I found no defects in it. The part that looks to be handles for a rear passenger double as perfect connection points for whatever you are strapping down, so you don't have to search for where to connect your bungee cords to.
